La Cocinita Food Truck was outside for lunch today, and they brought back tostones (sandwiches made with twice-fried plantains instead of bread) for a limited time... Very tasty with the purple slaw!

Dönerbox from Dönermen Food Truck for Lunch

Döner, both chicken and beef, over veggie salad and topped with tzatziki and berbere sauces! Very tasty, reasonably healthy, and the berbere is quite spicy!

I tried the Williams-Sonoma Ghost Pepper Pizza Sauce without dilution, it was spicy but not excessively hot. Great flavour, and it goes well with Italian-flavoured turkey "sausage".
